The Frisch School

New Jersey
Rabbi Tzvi Pittinsky
Director of Educational Technology

The Frisch School, a private, coed Yeshiva High School, offers a demanding dual curriculum of Judaic and college preparatory studies. The goals of the Frisch School are to promote the values of the Judaic heritage and the ideals of American democracy, within an environment that encourages critical and creative thought. The school has offered online learning for 2 years through NJ Virtual School. The Frisch School already strongly believes in the value of blended learning and finds it to be best learning model for the majority of their students. Every grade at Frisch participates in a wiki that integrates the various disciplines into broad themes. Students use this platform to create learning content and to interact with their peers through asynchronous online discussion forums.
